An Individual Development Plan (IDP) is a structured framework used to guide a player’s growth across all aspects of football performance. It helps coaches and players identify strengths, set clear goals, and track progress over time.
Our IDP focuses on five key areas:
-
Technical skills — ball mastery, passing, dribbling, and finishing.
-
Tactical understanding — decision‑making, positioning, and game awareness.
-
Physical development — strength, speed, endurance, and agility.
-
Psychological growth — confidence, focus, resilience, and motivation.
-
Social skills — communication, teamwork, and leadership.
Together, these areas ensure every player develops holistically — not just as an athlete, but as a confident, adaptable individual on and off the pitch.
What this IDP will include:
- Scoring system (1-10) across the 5 key development areas (50+ scoring areas)
- Ceiling Raisers
- Floor Raisers
- Short, Medium & long term development areas
- Individual session plans
This will be updated monthly via the player portal.
